My general research interests are in the area of innovation, knowledge, and organizational learning. More specifically, I study the creation and transfer of knowledge, with particular emphasis on creative industries and the role played by social and institutional forces, such as social norms.
My work has been published in the Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Perspectives, Advances in Strategic Management, Industrial and Corporate Change, Research Policy, and Strategic Management Journal.
In 2011, I was awarded the Best Dissertation Award of the AoM TIM Division. In 2015, I was runner-up for the Emerging Scholar Award of that same division. During the 2016 SMS Annual Meeting, I received three best-paper awards for my most recent work.
I currently serve as a Representative-at-Large for the Behavioral Strategy Interest Group of the Strategic Management Society. Between 2013 and 2017, I have served on the Executive Committee for both the STR (formerly BPS) Division and the TIM Division of the Academy of Management.
At HEC, I teach courses on Strategy and Innovation. Prior to joining academia, I worked as a product manager for L’Oréal Paris.
